Habibul Bashar kept his place as captain, even though it was reported that he would retire after the World Cup, as theBangladesh Cricket Board retained 14 of the 15 players that toured the Caribbean recently. Only Rajin Saleh, who didn’t play a game during the tournament, missed out., a Dhaka-based newspaper, said that Bashar, 34, was likely to retire after the series against India.
